Client: Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain.
Date: July 2015 – September 2015
Location: Embassy of the Kingdom of Bahrain, 2 Upper Brook Street, Mayfair, London, W1K 6PA
Project details: We were awarded the contract to upgrade the ageing R22 cooling only VRV systems at the Ambassador of Bahrain’s UK residence. Work was carried out in an operating building while the family were in residence. Through careful planning we were able to complete the entire installation within 3 weeks.
We were able to correct some capacity shortage issues by re-selecting the size of indoor units, as well as temperature issues with features available on the new VRV IV-Q Heat Pump series.
An iManager system was installed and fully commissioned to provide centralised control for the household team.
Client: The University of Nottingham
Date: July 2013 – October 2013
Location: The University of Nottingham, MRI Building, University Park, Nottingham NG7 2RD
Project details: Following the collapse of a local installer in Nottingham, the university were left with a project which could not be completed. The project in question was to upgrade 8 number Air Handling Units with direct expansion cooling coils, serving the CT scanner and control rooms.
The existing R22 coils, condensers and field pipping were removed and new purpose built DX coils were installed in each of the Air Handling Units. Daikin ERQ Heat Pump condensers were installed and commissioned, with full integration with the existing BMS systems.
Despite the collapse of the original contractor Intelligent Air Conditioning Ltd was able to deliver the completed project both on time and within budget.
